Loot To Forge Ore Locations — Full Stage & Drop List

Every Loot To Forge ore location by stage, plus sell prices, forge multipliers, and the fastest farming routes for Ember Stone and rare drops.

If you want better gear in +1 Loot To Forge, you need ore — and lots of it. Ore is the core resource of the game: every weapon you forge and every enhancement you push comes back to what the enemies drop. Knowing the Loot To Forge ore locations by stage saves you hours of farming the wrong floor, and it's the difference between a Katana stuck at +2 and a build that clears the Frostbound Tower.

This guide breaks down where each ore type drops, what it sells for, and how the community's fastest farming routes actually work.

How Ore Drops Work in +1 Loot To Forge

Ore in +1 Loot To Forge comes from two places: enemies you defeat in stage runs, and the Tower Challenge. There is no shop that sells raw ore — the collectable is unbuyable, which means every ore in your inventory was farmed.

The system is simple but strict:

  • Stage number sets the ore pool. The deeper you go, the better the ore enemies drop when they die.
  • Rarity sets the sell price. Rarer ore sells for more coins at the forge.
  • Ore is dual-purpose. You can sell it for coins or feed it into the forge to craft weapons and armor.

That last point matters more than new players realize. Selling a rare ore for quick coins feels good until you need that same ore as a forge ingredient two stages later. Community players consistently recommend holding at least a small stack of every ore type you find before selling the surplus.

Why Stage Depth Is Everything

Enemies on early stages drop common ore with low sell values. Push five or six stages deeper and the same enemy type starts dropping higher-rarity materials. This is why veteran players say "farm the deepest stage you can clear cleanly" — not the deepest stage you can barely survive.

Loot To Forge Ore Locations by Stage

Here's the community-mapped breakdown of which ores appear where. Treat stage numbers as the earliest confirmed drop point — the same ore can continue dropping on later stages.

The game tracks 48 ore types in total, according to community ore tables. Not all of them have confirmed stage numbers yet — Good Bro Studio has never published an official drop table, so everything above is community-observed rather than developer-confirmed.

Tower Challenge Ore Drops

The Tower Challenge is its own ore source. One progression write-up recorded the following pattern inside the tower:

  • Round 1: 600 coins and a Bone Ore, no stones
  • Rounds 2–7: Frostbite, Diamond, and Ember Stone

This lines up with the recorded farming footage, where round 1 returned zero Ember Stones and round 2 returned 43. If you're entering the tower purely for stones, don't judge the run by round 1.

The Ember Stone Exception: Not Really an Ore

Here's where most players get confused. Ember Stone looks like ore, drops like ore, and gets called "ore" in half the guides online — but it isn't part of the 48-ore table. It's the material the Enhance station consumes, and it never appears in the forge recipe list.

The confusion gets worse because auto-generated captions transcribe "Ember" as "amber," so a video will say "amber stones" while the Enhance panel on screen clearly reads Ember Stone.

Fastest Ore and Ember Stone Farming Routes

Community testing has produced two clear winners for farming, and they serve different players.

Frostbound Tower: Fastest Per Minute

The tower is the single fastest farm in the game. One recorded run pulled roughly 200 Ember Stones in about a minute, with 43 on round 2 and 162 on a later round. The run was abandoned at the one-minute mark with about 200 stones banked.

But the tower has gates:

  • Second rebirth required to unlock it
  • One Tower Ticket per run — free tickets come from rebirths (two each), a daily claim of two inside the tower window, and a reported 5% drop from the lobby ore board
  • Shift Lock and auto-target are disabled inside, and power resets to zero on rebirth — so running the tower right after a rebirth ends the run early

Ticket packs cost 49, 199, 1,199, and 4,999 Robux, which works out to roughly 4.9 Robux per ticket on the small pack and 2.5 on the large one.

Stage 6 Idling: The Overnight Option

If you haven't hit your second rebirth, idling is your farm. One recorded session left a character standing on stage 6 overnight and woke up to about 2,400 Ember Stones — the biggest single free chunk anyone has documented.

The tradeoff is speed: that's roughly 200–300 stones per hour, against the tower's 200 per minute. But it requires nothing except a stage you can survive.

Three rules make overnight idling work:

  1. Mobs respawn every 28–30 seconds, so standing still still pays.
  2. Dying loses every ore you haven't carried back. A 3 a.m. death erases the whole night.
  3. If a normal mob takes more than four hits, back out one stage. Farm the stage you clear cleanly, not the stage you can survive.

The Enhance Quest Ladder

During the Enhance event, the quest line paid stones for enhancement attempts, not successes. The cheap-Katana route was the community favorite: forge the cheapest Katana, enhance it to +2, repeat.

Enhances CompletedRewardConfirmation Level
5 enhances15 Ember StonesTwo independent sources
10 enhances40 Ember StonesTwo independent sources
20 enhances100 Ember StonesSingle source
30 enhances200 stones or 10 Prismatic StonesSources conflict

Only the 5 and 10 tiers are agreed on by multiple sources. Don't build a stone budget around the 30-enhance reward — one report says it pays 200 Ember Stones, another says that's where the first 10 Prismatic Stones appear, and Prismatic Stones are a separate material whose use nobody has figured out yet.

Free Ore and Stone Sources You Might Be Missing

Beyond farming, there are fixed free sources worth grabbing immediately.

Active Codes

The code 50000CCU currently hands out 50 Ember Stones — the only fixed free amount on the board. Redeem it by opening the game, loading into the hub, tapping the Shop button on the left, scrolling to the bottom, and pasting the code into the codes box.

Expired codes (30000CCU for 2,000 coins and 2 Race Rolls, 20000CCU for 2,000 coins and a Power Potion) may still be worth trying in case of a reactivation, but don't count on them.

What Ore Is Actually Worth Selling

Selling is a legitimate strategy — coins fund enhancement attempts, and enhancement costs climb fast. Here's the cost curve for reference:

Enhance StepStones Per AttemptCoins Per AttemptSuccess Rate
+0 to +15200100%
+1 to +2101,000100%
+2 to +3203,00085%
+3 to +4407,00075%
+4 to +56015,00065%
+5 to +610032,00040%

Getting from +0 to +6 costs roughly 434 stones and 117,000 coins in expectation — and the +5 to +6 step alone eats 58% of that stone total. That's why high-value ore like Amber (3.53K coins per unit) matters: selling a stack of it can fund several enhancement attempts.

Above +6, the rules change. Multiple sources agree that a failed enhancement at +6 or higher drops your item down one level, which stretches the +5 to +8 grind to roughly 38.9 attempts instead of the 7 a no-penalty model would need.

Common Ore Mistakes New Players Make

A few traps catch almost everyone:

  • Confusing Ember Stone with Amber. They're different items with different uses. Read the item panel.
  • Confusing Gold ore with Coins. One guide calls Coins "gold," but Gold is an Epic ore that drops on stage 7 and goes into the forge.
  • Selling every ore immediately. You'll need specific ores as forge ingredients later. Keep a buffer.
  • Farming too deep. The four-hit rule exists because the death penalty is brutal. A clean stage 6 run beats a messy stage 7 wipe every time.
  • Judging the tower by round 1. Round 1 often pays nothing. The stones come on rounds 2 and beyond.

Where to Verify Drop Rates Yourself

Good Bro Studio has never published a drop rate table, a stone table, or patch notes for the Enhance system. Every number in this guide comes from either Roblox's own API data (like the Enhance Pack prices) or dated community reports.

That means the most reliable verification method is your own runs. Track what drops on each stage for a few cycles, note the sell prices, and compare against the table above. The official +1 Loot To Forge game page on Roblox is the only authoritative source for update announcements — and joining the Good Bro Studio group is the fastest way to hear about new codes and ore additions.
